school unfairness

Does anybody other than me think school district boundaries are more than a bit harsh? Like if you really wanted to wanted to go to a really awesome high school or whatever but could just because of a stupid line hello!!!!!!! uhhhh. differents schools totally affect a whole bunch of stuff... bullying and all that crap.
