Review :Same Kind Of Different As Me

Same Kind Of Different As Me
is a true story based on the friendship of two men from completely different walks of life. Ron Hall is a wealthy art dealer, and Denver Moore is homeless; together with Lynn Vincent, they tell their story of incredible faith and friendship. I was unsure as to what I should expect when I began this book, but I am grateful I was given the opportunity to review it. Once I began reading, I could not put it down. Their story is told in such a powerful way, it's almost like they are there in person, re- living it for the reader. I found myself being completely absorbed in what I was reading, and I finished the book feeling as though I had really come to know them personally. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone. I feel strongly that this book tells an important story of God's love and how forgiveness can change your life forever.

Book Review: The Skin Map

In "The Skin Map", Stephen Lawhead has artfully woven a tale of fantasy, adventure, suspense and so much more. A very satisfying read!

The main character is Kit Livingstone, the average joe, living a dreary life from every aspect, even his girlfriend is dull! His life is thrown into overdrive when a long lost great-grandfather appears, with the message of otherworldly dimensions, which can be accessed through ley lines. Magical pathways which can be access by certain talented people. Soon he find himself on a exhilarating quest, through different times, dimensions, countries. In search of a map... tattooed onto the maker.....

In a race of time he must retrieve and decode the ma before it falls into the wrong hands....after all it's not only their world at risk.....

Overall a highly recommended book, a promising start to an amazing new series!!! 5/5 stars

Review of Let's Do Lunch

Now diet books may seem like a quick fad... but "Let's Do Lunch" is much more than that. It implies not a diet but a lifestyle change. It s also the amazing story of Roger Troy Wilson’s journey to lose weight in a healthy, easy way. The strategies he used sounded really plausible and true. From advising readers through snacking, switching meals, etc, with thorough explanations! He also applies these to his own story too. Overall it comes off as a story and instructional piece told in an endearingly honest voice. 5/5
